It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of John Thoithi Machira.

Beloved husband to Jacinta Wanjiru. Father to the late Esther Wambui, Anne Wachera, Bernard Machira, Joseph
Kimani and Sharon Wangu.

Father-in-law to Sharon Kimani. Grandfather to Angel Nijenga, Esther Lynn Kimani and Melody Mwangi.

Brother to Jane Wanjugu, James Waheire, Annabel Njoki, the late Charity Wangu, the late Festus Muriuki, the late
Peter Mathenge, the late Alice Wangui, the late Margaret Wanjiku and the late Jackson Mwangi.

He was brother-in-law to Mr & Mrs Raphael Gaitara, Mr & Mrs Ndirangu, Mr & Mrs David Gathwara, Mr & Mrs Joseph Nijenga, John Gathogo, Mr & Mrs Simon Nyoro, Mr & Mrs Leonard Ndungu Mutimu, Mr & Mrs
Ngige, Pastor and Mrs James Kimani, Pastor and Mrs Paul Mburu, Francis Gaitara, Mrs. Mary Muriuki, Mr. John . °
Ngunyi, Mrs.Leah Waheire, Margaret Mwangi, the late Julia Gichuru, the late Joe Kimani and the late Pastor Peter Gathogo. He was a beloved Cousin and Uncle to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his residence in Skuta from 5:00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home, Next to Outspan Hospital on Friday 22nd December, 2023 at 9:00am for a funeral service next to his home in Skuta, opposite former Nyeri MP PG Muriithi residence.
