It is with profound sadness and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Dr Fredrick Phinecas Mwaro Makokha which occurred on 7/12/2023 at Aga Khan University Hospital Nairobi after illness bravely fought.

Son to the late James Makokha and late Eunice Namukhono.

Darling husband to Beatrice Cecilia Mwaro. Charming father to Mildred Mwaro, Eunice Mwaro, Nancy Mwaro, Runcie Mwaro, Connex Mwaro, Regina Mwaro, Joshua Mwaro and Allan Mwaro.

Brother to Margaret Ndubi and the late Judith Mabalu.

Grandad to James, Joy, Stephanie, Jade, Chelsie, Laqueta, Jill, Jadine, Soumya, Lanasha, Laisha, Jewel, Cecilia, Lance and Phinecas.

Uncle to Winston, Pius, Phelistus, Doris, James, Kevin among others.

Nephew to the late Gamaliel, the late Fridah, the late Mutsune, the late Muga, the late Obuya, the late Risper and Livingstone.

Father-in-law to Walter, Fredrick and Sanday.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily in Nairobi and his home in Sikura, Busia County.

There will be a requiem service on 19/12/2023 from 1:30 pm at All saints Cathedral.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on 21/12/2023 for Kisumu Airport, then a procession to Khung’ungu Village, Busia for overnight vigil. On 22/12/2023 morning the cortege leaves for Sikura Village for overnight prayers and vigil. The burial service and rites will be held on 23/12/2023 at his home Sikura Village, Butula Sub-County, Busia County.
