SAMUEL KIMOTHO WAINAINA (SK)

It is with the acceptance of God’s will that a we announce the passing of Samuel Kimotho Wainaina (SK), formerly of BAT Kenya, on Saturday 30th December 2023, after a heroic year-long fight with colon cancer.

He hailed from Karura ka Nyungu, Kabete, Kiambu.

He was a loving husband to Jane Nyakiago and a treasured father to Steve & Nellie Wainaina (Goldtec), Njeri  Kimotho (KCB), Grace & John Githinji (Sweet Inspirations) and Kamau Kimotho (KenGen).

Beloved son to the late Mr & Mrs. Stephen Wainaina (Munga) and a son in law of Mr & Mrs. Geoffrey Muuru Ndungi of Kihara Village.

Cherished brother to Wambui Itotia, late James Makumi, Sarah Wanjiru Wainaina, L.K. Wainaina, Eunice Wanjiku, Wairimu Githuku, Ngugi Wainaina, Mumbi Kivuti, Boro Wainaina, Mary Njoroge and Elizabeth Mbene.

Brother-in-law to Eliud & Beatrice Ndungi, Late Allan & Agnes Njoroge, Sarah & Late Sammy Mbuthia, late Racheal & George Kimani, Wallace & late Winnie Karori.

Grandpa to Jane, Imani, Hope, Jeremy, Ayla and Sammy. He was an uncle to many.

Family and friends are gathering daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home in Karura ka Nyungu, Kabete, Kiambu County.

The Cortege leaves Nairobi Adventist Funeral Home (SDA Hospital – Gachie) on Tuesday 9th January 2024 at 9am for the funeral service and interment at his home from 12 noon.
