PETER KARIUKI KAMANDE

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we regret to announce the promotion to glory of Peter Kariuki Kamande who rested peacefully in his sleep in the early morning of 31st December 2023 at home.

He is the beloved son of Mr. John Kamande Kariuki of National Treasury Nairobi and Mrs. Francisca Nyambura Kamande of Probation and Aftercare Mogotio, Baringo County.

He is the only and cherished brother of Mary Emmaculate Wanjiru Kamande of Saint Paul’s University.

Peter is a nephew to Maina (Embu), Muthoni, Kimani, Njoki (Chief), Wambui, Njeri, Mugo, Nyakanini and Nyambura of Mpeketoni Lamu and Dr Fidelis Wambui, the late Wanjiru, Sister Agnes, Dr Kimani, Njahira, Kibathi, Matthew, Kimwa and Kariuki of Gatunda South and Mpeketoni. He is a cousin to many in Gatundu South and Mpeketoni, Lamu.

There shall be requiem masses today, 5th January 2024 at his parents’ home Mang’u Nakuru County at 3:00 p.m. and at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church Kiambu at 6:00 p.m.

Prayers and meetings are being held daily at his parents’ home in Mang’u Nakuru County and at St Peter and Paul Catholic Church Kiambu starting at 3.00 pm and 6:00 p.m. respectively.

The cortege shall leave PNN Funeral Home Nakuru on Tuesday 9th January 2024 at 8:00am for the funeral ceremony at his parents’ home in Mang’u Nakuru County starting 10:00 a.m.and thereafter burial at the same place.
