MILIKA MUTHONI KARIUKI MUKUMBIRU

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our dear mother, Milika Muthoni Kariuki Mukumbiru, who was promoted to glory on 1st January 2024.

She was the wife of the late Joseph Kariuki Mukumbiru.

Daughter of the late Muriungi Mwosa and Wangithi Muriungi. Sister to the late Haran Mwosa and late Wangechi Muriungi.

Beloved Mother to Phyllis Wanja of Kiangwaci, Edith Wambura (Qadesea Journeys), Phrasiah Wambui (formerly Tea Board of Kenya), the late Munene, Dr. Nancy Wangechi (Kenya Methodist University), Irene Wanjiku (Headteacher-Kyamuthwa Primary School) and the late Njoki.

Mother-in-law to the late Joseph Mwangi Gitonga, Prof. James Wabacha (O.G.W), (AU-IBAR and Chairman
Board of Directors-KAGRC) and William Kituva (Retired Village Adminstrator-Kyatune Ward).

She was a grandmother to late Wanjiru, Nyaguthii, & Adrian (Game Trackers Safaris), Munene, Gitonga (Canada), Catherine (Germany), Angela, Karen, Wabacha (KPMG), Kariuki (USA), Wangui, Eng.  Allan, Jamie and Syethue. A great grandmother, a great great grandmother to many.

Funeral arrangements are going on at her home Kiangwaci Village, Kirinyaga County.

The burial will be held on 10/01/2024 at her home opposite the Kiangwaci Police Station. The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Mortuary Thika Road at 8:30am.

It is God who gave us Milika and now has taken her away. May the name of God be praised
