It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Mrs. Hannah Wambui Irungu which occurred on 14th January, 2024.

Daughter of the Late Samwel Gichuhi and Lydia Wambura. (Kigwandi, Nyeri) Daughter-in-law to the Late Rufus King’ori & Salome Wanjiku (Othaya)

Beloved wife to the Late Nelson Irungu King’ori. Mother to Rufus King’ori & Felista, Margaret Wanjiku, Samuel & Mary Gichuhi, the late Lydia Kabura, Brigadier P.M. Githinji & Rosemary Githinji, Anthony & Shiru Nderitu.

Sister to the late Ruth, Margaret, the late Simon and Esther.

Sister-in-law to the late Wabiru, the late Wamugunda, the late Kiiru, the late Rose, the late Wambugu and Habel.

Cherished grandmother and great grandmother to many.

Daily meetings are being held at her home in Olkalou Town (Vatican), and at Clavina Hotel in Gilgil starting Wednesday 17th January from 6:00pm.

The funeral service will be on Tuesday 23rd January 2024 at Munyeki (Vatican), Olkalou . starting at 10.00 a.m.

The cortege will leave Daktari Medical Centre (Gilgil) on 23rd January 2024 at 8:00am for Olkalou Town (Vatican), Nyandarua County and burial on the same date.
