WINFRED MUKIRI MICHENI MATIBU

It is with heavy hearts and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mrs. Winfred Mukiri Micheni Matibu which occurred on 30th April 2024.

She was promoted to glory at her home in Kangoro Village, Mwonge Location, Magumoni Division in Tharaka Nithi County.

Beloved wife of the late Erick Micheni Matibu.

Loving mother of the late Fredrick Gitonga, Purity Gakii of Kibugua Health Centre and Doreen Mwende of Northern Rangelands Trust.

She was mother-in-law of Dr. Edwin Mwiti Mutegi and Eng. Jacob Bundi Munene.

She was grandmother of Stecy Makena, Lyla Kiende, Ivy Kendi, Culver Munene, Claire Kendi and Carson Murithi.

Daughter of late Solomon Magambo and late Sarah Solomon.

She was Sister of late Mutuma Magambo, late Solomon Mwiti, Margaret Magambo, late Gichuru Magambo, Ismael Muriungi Magambo, late Guantai Magambo, late

Gatobu Magambo, Ephantus  Murani Magambo and Kirimi Magambo.

Sister-in-law of Felicity Mutuma, Julia Mwiti, late Eliud Mitine, late Ruth Gichuru, Kanini Muriungi, Charity Gatobu, Rael Murani, Jeniffer Kirimi, Emily Muthoni &

Erastus Gitari, Phoebe Kangai & Boniface Miriti, Peter Kinyua & Alice Kawira, Lydiah Joy Kaari & James Kinyua, Grace Gakuthii & Mugendi Ntiba, Rita Wanja, late

Ayub Mwenda, Lewis Mugambi and Moreen Mukami.

Daughter-in-law of late Antipas Matibu and Leah Matibu and an aunt to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting at her home in Kangoro village, Mwonge location, Magumoni division in Tharaka Nithi County daily at 4.00pm.

The cortege will leave Lampedusa Funeral Home in Chuka at 9am on Wednesday, 8th May 2024 for a funeral service at PCEA Kangoro Church Chuka, followed by

the burial at her home.
