ERASTUS TIROP SERONEY KESSIO

We humbly announce the passing of Erastus Tirop Seroney Kessio from Kibomet, Kitale in Trans-Nzoia County, on May 18 ,2024, at Living room hospital in Eldoret following a prolonged illness.

He was the son of the late Joshua Kipkoech Kessio and late Miriam Chelagat Kessio.

Erastus was the beloved husband of Mary Seroney and a loving father of Joan Chebet Gregory (Australia), Ezekiel Seroney (Australia), Kipchirchir Seroney, Kipleting Seroney, Caroline Jepkosgei and Kiplimo Seroney (Australia).

He was a father-in-law of Peter Gregory, Flossy Seroney, Sharon Chebet, Caroline Jepkosgei, and Dorothy Tirop, and a grandfather of Pavlos, Cherop, Jeremy, Cherono, Kipchumba, Solomon and Chelimo.

Brother of Joseph Koech (Tuiyo), the late Elizabeth Letting (Kapchemoywo), the late Reuben Kibitok, the late Solomon Birgen (Turbo), Rael Magut (Lelmokwo), and Ann Busienei ( Cherangani).

His cousins include the Sajons of Chemogong, the families from Kapboiyo AKapchepngeny), Kobotsosi from Chepsiria, and the Seroneys of Kapkerer.

A fundraising event to support his final rites will be held on May 27, 2024, | Starting at 3.00PM at his farm in Kibomet, Kitale.

The cortege will depart from Eldoret Hospital Mortuary on Monday, May 27, 2024, for his home in Kibomet Kitale

His burial will occur on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at his farm in Kitale, Trans-Nzoia County.
