SIMON MWAGIRU MAINA

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Simon Mwagiru Maina of Kenya Airways on 31st May 2024.

Simon was the beloved son of the late Eliaph Maina Gikinya and Martha Wanyara Maina.

He was a cherished brother of Jacqueline Mumbi, Lydia Wanjiku, Martin Wahome and brother-in-law of Eunice Wambui.

He was a dear uncle of Phillip Maina and Travis Maina.

Simon was devoted to both his family and his professional career as a Pilot at Kenya Airways until his passing.

Family and friends are gathering daily at his parents’ home in Old Racecourse Estate Phase 3, Kariokor, for funeral and burial arrangements.

A memorial mass will be held at ACK St.John’s Pumwani, Nairobi on Thursday 6th June 2024, at 2:00pm.

The cortege will leave KU Referral Funeral Home on Friday 7th June 2024 for the burial at the family home in Kirungu Village, Kiria-ini, Mathioya, Murang’a County.
