It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mwalimu Morris Simiyu Wekesa which occurred on Tuesday May 28, 2024 at

MTRH.

He was a loving husband of Agnes Manyonge. Beloved son of the late George Aineah Wekesa and the late Racheal Wekesa.

He was a devoted father of Nancy Simiyu, Edith Lukholele, Kevin Simiyu, Mercy Simiyu, Brian Butala, Collins George, Glory Princess, and Diana Simiyu.

Brother of Ruth Lutukai, Jane Wekesa, Eliud Wekesa, Lenah Mulati, Hellen Wanyonyi, Pauline Wekesa and the late Margaret Wekesa.

Morris was also a cherished Father in-law of Benard Ouma, Loice Nadiza and James Odeke; grandfather of Beldon Okumu, Elsie Namulala, Ella Nzai, Jolion Otieno

and Precious Joy.

Family and friends are gathering daily at his residence in Namwela Ward, Sirisia Constituency, Bungoma to honor his memory.

The cortege will depart from Lifecare on Friday, June 7th, 2024, for a reverent church service at the Friends Church Chwele, followed by his final resting place at the

family homestead in Namwela on Saturday June 8, 2024
