DORCAS GEORGIAN ATIENO MIMA

20th October 1987 – 26th May 2024

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely passing of Dorcas Georgian Atieno Mima, which happened in Nairobi on 26/05/2024.

She was an employee of The Leadership Group.

Daughter of Wilson Nyaranga Mima and Mary Adhiambo (Donness).

Granddaughter of Abisae Mima and Joan Mima and Alfred and Kerina Nyangengo. Beloved Mother of Zola and Anthony. Sister of Elias, Timon, Teddy, and Cindy.

Cousin of Brian, Humphrey, Hollman, Paul, Selassie, Nerry, Martin and many more. Aunty of many and loyal friend of many more.

She will be remembered for her love, laughter, kindness and angelic voice. She touched the lives of many with her good-heartedness.

There will be a Harambee held on 11th June, 2024 from 5:00pm at All Saints Cathedral.

A requiem mass will be held on 12th June, 2024 from 2.00pm at Nairobi Central SDA Church.

She will be laid to rest in Migingo, Kano, Kisumu County on 14th June, 2024 from 9.00am.

Romans 14:7-8 ~ “For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone. 8 If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.”
