SOSTEN KIPCHUMBA CHERUIYOT SOLIT

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Retired Teacher Sosten Cheruiyot Solit, which occurred on 8th June 2024.

He was the Son of the late Paul Bett Cheruiyot and late Christina Bett of Chebaiywa, Moi University Kesses. Husband of Anjeline Jeptum Cheruiyot of Kapchesiming.

Father of David Chumba (RVIL-Eldoret), Pius Cheruiyot (Lecturer), Titus Chumba (Teacher), Charles Chumba (Teacher), Amon-Simon Chumba (Teacher), Rose Cheruiyot-Mwenda (Post-Bank NRB), Cyrus Cheruiyot (USA),Valentine Jerotich Kiptoo (KRA-NRB), Glarius Choge (IT), John Cheruiyot (Architect) and Joseph Chumba (Qatar).

Friends and Relatives are meeting daily at Home Chebaiywa and Alabama USA at varied timelines for prayers and burial preparations.

A harambee will be held on Saturday 15th June 2024 to accord our hero a befitting send off at home chebaiywa.

The cortege will leave Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Funeral Home, on Monday 17th June 2024 at 1:30PM, thereafter the convoy will head for a requiem mass which will be held at St. Michael Chaplaincy Moi University at 3:00 PM.

The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday 18th June 2024, at 12:00 PM followed by the burial ceremony at his family home Chebaiywa.
