DAVID NJOROGE MARIGA

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of David Njoroge Mariga. He was born in Karura Forest (Survey Village) Nairobi County.

He was son to the late James Mariga and Hannah Wanjiku. He passed on 6 th June 2024 after a short illness at Kenyatta National Hospital.

He was brother of the late John Njogu, Mary Nyambura,Joseph Githendu, Cecilia Njeri, Josphat Kariuki, Loise Waceke, Samuel Kinuthia and Tabitha Karendi.

David was husband of Elizabeth Gathoni and Esther Kabura and were blessed with the children; George Karanja, Teresiah Wanjiku, James Mariga, Hannah Wanjiku, Cecilia Wangui, Christine Njeri, Daniel Jomo, Newton Kariuki, Monica Muthoni, Mary Muthoni, and Moses Waigi.

Until his demise, David Mariga was working with Nyayo Tea Zones Development Corporation, Muranga Zone where he served with commitment and dedication for excellence.

Cortege will leave KNH Funeral Home for burial which will be held on 14th June 2024 (Friday) at his home in Gathwariga, Kinale, Lari, Kiambu County.
