It’s with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr Joseph Miano Kigundu of JOKES Hardware, Sagana, Kirinyaga. He hailed from Gacharu Village, Gacharu Sub location, Ndia, Kirinyaga County.

He was Husband of Esther Nyagacheke Miano. Father of Bob & Ann Kigundu, George & Njeri Wagema, Janet Miano, Ken & Bestinah Ikua and John & Juliet Ruitha.

He was Grandfather of Jakes, Misha, Kirumba & Miano, Nathan, Kayla, Chao, Mike and Johari.

Son of the late James Kigundu & Lydia Wairimu. Loving brother of Wamuyu, Michael Ikua, Dan Ikua, (all deceased) Rev.Simon Kigundu, Richard Baru, among others.

Son in law of the late Raphael & late Marata Wagema Ruitha of Kaheti Village, Mukurueni.

Brother-in-law of Ruitha Constance, Mwihaki, Ruitha John (all deceased), Simon Mathenge, Susan Matharu, Margaret Njoki Karanja, Joe Gachiri, Mary Wanjiku (UK), Alice Dada Karanja & Jane Johnson (USA).

Family and friends are meeting at his Gacharu home, off Nyeri-Karatina Highway for prayers daily at 3.00pm.

The cortege leaves Montenzuma Funeral Home, Kabati on Wednesday, 19th June 2024 at 7.00am for funeral service at his Gacharu Home, from 10.00am.
