It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Maurice Wanyonyi Solomon on the 8th June, 2024 at Eldoret Hospital following a long illness bravely borne.

He was a retired registrar of persons, Dear son to Rt. Senior Sub-Chief John Wanyonyi and Mayi Petronilla Nanjala of Chebaywa location, Kiliboti Sub-location.

Beloved husband of Getrude Wanyonyi (County Government of Bungoma, Department of Health).

Loving father of Bridged Wanyonyi (USA), Millicent Wanyonyi (NCBA Bank), Dennis Wanyonyi (USA), Elizabeth Wanyonyi (USA).

Dear father-in-law of Brandon Capers (USA) and Grandfather of Brice James Capers (USA).

Loving brother of Fridah, the late Henry, the late Ngome, Nicholas Wanyonyi (USA), Pamela (KRA), Francis, Mary, Florence, Violet, Felistas (KRA) and Julius.

Uncle of David, the late Lukeresia, Ian, Nancy, Milkah, Elizabeth, Rosy, the late Caro, Collins, Lynn, Arnold, Mark, John, Moses, Wanyama, Grace, Sheila, Barbara, Ruth, Kennedy, Cyril, Connie, Derick, Sharon, Nolan.

The cortege leaves Delight Funeral home (Kimilili) on Thursday 20th June, 2024 for a requiem mass at Holy Trinity church Webuye. Burial service will be held at Webuye Holy Trinity grounds (Bungoma County) on Friday, 21st June, 2024
