Mr. Philip Kiplimo Soy

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God`s will that we announce the demise of Mr. Philip Kiplimo Soy of the Ministry of Interior and National Administration which occurred on 9th June 2024 while receiving treatment at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital.

Until his untimely demise, the late was serving as the Deputy County Commissioner at the Regional Commissioner’s office, Western Regioner in Kakamega.

He was the beloved Son of the late Kitur Arap Soy and the late Dinah Chematia Soy and Stepson of the late Everlyne Soy and Roseline Soy.

Beloved husband of Rose Nyaminsa Soy, and father of Cynthia Chelagat, Sandra Cheruto, Denver Kibet and Brevin Kipkosgei.

Son-in-law of Mr. Joseck Nyakwara and Susana Nyakwara (Nyamira County).

He was a loving grandfather of Ethan Miles.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at his residence in Kibomet, Trans-Nzoia County for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Cherangani Mortuary on Thursday 20th June 2024 for a night vigil.

The burial will be held on Friday 21st June 2024 at his home in Trans-Nzoia County, Kiminini Sub-County, Kibomet Location.
