MRS. LOUISA ACHIENG OWITI

With profound sadness, we announce the death of Mrs. Louisa Achieng Owiti which occurred on Thursday 20th June 2024.

Louisa was the wife of the late Paul Emmanuel Wangadia Owiti of Agwara Village, Bondo sub-County Siaya County.

She was the mother to the late Poncian Owiti formerly of Kenya Posta, Patrick Owiti formerly of the Ministry of Finance (IAGD), Prof. Angela Amayo of the University of Nairobi, Christopher Owiti formerly of KPA Mombasa, and Lillian Owiti of the University of Nairobi. Mother-in-law to Mrs. Gladys Owiti, Mrs. Mercy Owiti, Prof.Erastus Amayo, and Mrs. Judy Owiti.

Grandmother of Emily Rose, James and Sharon, Paul Omondi and Karima, Paul Odhiambo, Louisa-Sophie, Louisa-Maya, Angela, Joshua, Nancy, Michelle, Sharon, Emmanuel, Paul Kito, Jacinta, and Jude. She was the great-grandmother to Skylar Achieng.

The cortege will leave Bondo Sub-County Funeral Home on Friday 5 th July 2024 at 12.30pm for a requiem mass at St Andrew’s Catholic Church, Bondo and thereafter proceed to her home in Agwara Village for an overnight vigil.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday 6th July 2024 at her home in Agwara Village.
