ASKA MORAA RORI CHOGO

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mama Aska Moraa Rori Chogo, which occurred on Wednesday 26 th June, 2024 after battling with stroke.

She was wife of Mzee Peter Rori Makori of Monyerero Village, Matongo location, Kitutu Chache North, Kisii County.

Beloved daughter of the late Naftal Chogo and Ebisiba Nyasuguta Chogo of Masakwe Village.

Step-daughter of the late Susana Chogo and the late Nyaboke Chogo.

Daughter-in-law of the late Makori and the late Kemuma.

Mother of Naomi Kwamboka, Zipporah Nyaboke, Lydia Kemuma and Nelson Ogamba.

Sister of Gladys, the late Sarah, Mary, Ruth, Nyaboke Asuma (Principal – Tambacha Secondary School), Joash, the late Onsomu, the late Norah, the late Andrew, Zeddy, Sussy, James, Racheal, Hon. Patrick Chogo, Grace and George.

Sister-in-law of Okoyo, Jobic, Rael, the late Teresa, Mary, Esther, Naomi, Peris, the late Catherine, Joyce, Felista, Hon. Chris Obure,Thomas Aunga, Mayaka, Momanyi and the late Asuma.

Cousin of the Nyachieos, Nyaogas, Osiemos, Oriosas, Getandas, Nyangwaras, Sures, Masiras, Nyambatis, Nyakabas, Makanas, Nyarikis, Onyiegos, Bosires, Nyaatas, Mrs Mary Obure, Hon.Stephen Nyarangi, Tom Michira (Chief Officer – Public health, Nairobi county) and others.

Mother-in-law of Peter Ochieng and Enock Orlando Ateku. She was blessed with 9 grandchildren: Candy (Chuchu), Mitchel, Makori, Prince, Stacy, Kemuma, Shane, Anunda and Samara.

There will be a memorial service on 4th July 2024 at Chiromo Mortuary from 7.30am – 9.00am then the cortege shall leave for Kisii.

The burial service will take place on 5th July 2024 at Monyerero Village, Matongo Location, Kitutu Chache North, Kisii County
