GEOFFREY WYCLIFFE OTIENO OSORO

It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden demise of our beloved Geoffrey Wycliffe Otieno Osoro which occurred on the 26th June 2024 at Aga Khan Hospital, Nairobi.

At the time of his death worked at Trade Mark East Africa (TMEA) and was based at EAC – Arusha.

He formerly worked at Ministry of Planning, Ministry of Trade and COMESA (Zambia).

Son of the late Clement Saulo Osoro and the late Mama Rosa Aloo of North Ugenya, Kagonya Sub-Location.

Son-in-law of the late Isaac Oloo and Dreda and Caren Odhiambo of Uyoma Kobong’.

Dear Husband of Norah Osoro. Father of Clement Osoro, Andrew Osoro and Nellie Osoro.

Brother of Joyce Orinda, Margaret Mboya, Nelly Obonyo, Rosemary Rajogi, Allan Osoro, and Gladis Oginga.

Nephew of the late Boaz and Risper Osoro, Jane Agola, Andrea Odhiambo, Agusto Ogutu, and Salome Khodongo.

Brother-in-law of Jonathan Orinda, the late Mboya,Tom Obonyo, Eliud Orwa, the late Stephen Oginga, the late Akoth Midiwo, Winfred Otieno, Joan and the late Andrew, Boaz & Jacqueline, Hezron & Modesta, Jennipher Oluoch, Elly, Collins, John, Everlyne, Joseph and Jennifer.

Cousin of the Oginde family, Mbala family amongst others.

An Illustrious son of the greater Muhando family group represented by Samson Ochieng, Ann Adul, Tina Osoro, Joshua Adang. Omondi Kanut, Aloice Ochola, Frederick Apollo Oduor, Paul Omondi among others.

A committed worshiper at Church of Good Shepherd A.C.K (Lang’ata), St. Johns ACK Kagonya church and member of the G10 Welfare Group, among others. Friends and relatives are meeting daily at the Rubia Estate, Lang’ata home.

There will be fundraising on Wednesday 3rd July, 2024 from 5.00pm and Saturday 6th from 2.00 pm at the All Saints Cathedral.

Funeral service will be held at the All Saints Cathedral on Wednesday 10th July, 2024 at 12.00 noon.

Burial to take place on Saturday the 13th July, 2024 at his home in Kagonya, North Ugenya.
