DICKSON OMONDI AMINA-OMOSH

It is with deep sorrow that the Amina family announces the death of their beloved brother/son Dickson Omondi Amina –Jamondo of OP – HQ which occurred on the 23rd of June, 2024 at Coptic Hospital after an illness bravely borne.

Dickson Omondi Amina, also fondly known as ‘Jamondo’ or ‘Omosh’ to friends and family, was born in 1974 as the sixth child of the late George Amina Musewe and the late Risper Awuor Amina.

Dickson was brother of Bert Oduor Amina, Roseline Akinyi Amina (deceased), Terry Anyango Amina, Pennina Auma Amina (deceased), and Joyce Adhiambo Amina, Helen Achieng Amina, Richard Ochieng Amina, Anthony Otieno Amina and Maryanne Akoth Amina.

Dickson uncle of Irene Amina (deceased), Kevin Odhiambo (deceased) Mona Achieng, Shadrack Gome, Steve Oduor, William Ogango, Maureen Oduor, Winnie Ogango, Sharon Oduor, David Otieno, Nelson Ogango, Natasha Jael, Winston Odhiambo, Angel Ochieng, Xavier Ochieng, Malia Sianto, Owen Olale, Lyon Amina, Tijara Lulu and Gianna Lein.

Dickson was brother-in-law of Kennedy Ogango, Esther Oduor, Fridah Ochieng and Sylvia Mulindi.

Dickson was nephew of Joseph Ouma, Michael Aloo, Dr. Vitalis Musewe, George Musewe, Alice Ohomo, Margaret Olotch, Consolata Wendoh, Christopher Nyadimo and many others.

Cousin of Veronica, Pamela, Anyango, Auma, Aluoch, Sele, Awino, Sunday, Omondi, Achieng, Eric Nyadimo, Cyril Roseline, Tinna, Ben Nyadimo among others. Dickson Omondi was father of Michelle Achieng Chebet, Tevin Ateku, Myels Omondi and Bryanna Omondi.

Family and friends are mobilizing funds for Dickson’s send off via Pay-bill 8057809 (Omondi Amina Funeral Fund).

There will be a requiem mass on 4th July 2024 at Don Bosco Upper Hill Catholic Church from 10:00AM.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home – Nairobi on Friday 5th July 2024.

Omosh will be laid to rest on Saturday 6th July 2024 at his home in Siaya County, East Ugenya,Ramunde location,Masiro Urenga, Uluthe Village.

Omosh, You have fought a good fight, you have finished tha race and you have kept the faith. (Uko kwa mikono miwili mwa bwana). Rest in peace.
