It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Joseph Githara Wagichu.

Son of the late Wagichu Githara and Njoki Wagichu. Husband of the late Elder Salome Njambi Githara. father of John Gakobo, fred Wagichu, The late Eric Ngaruiya, the late Evans Kuria, Esther Njoki, Beatrice Baetsen of Holland, Mary Njau and Moses Gathirimu of China.

Father-in-law of Elder Grace Gakobo, Beth Wagichu, Nelius Ngaruiya, the late Sarah Kuria, Rob Beatsen, the late Alfred Njau, and Zhang Gathirimu and a grandfather of many.

Brother of the late Mary Wanjiku, the late Ruth Wangui, Jane Muthithi, Hannah Wanjiku, Elizabeth Njue, Stephen Ngaruiya, Justin Gathirimu, Richard Mwangi and Margaret Njeri.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his residence in Ruai from 4.00pm.

The cortege leaves KU Referral Mortuary on Tuesday 9th July 2024 at 8.00am for funeral service at Githunguri, Mitahato Village from 11.00am, thereafter burial will follow at the same venue.

It is God who gave us Joseph, may his name be praised
