It is with great sadness and the humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the sudden passing on, at home, of Major (Rtd.) Wilson Koitaba formerly of the Kenya Navy, Brooke Bond, National Cereal and Produce Board and the Lembus Council of Elders, on 27th June 2024.

He was a son of the late Daniel Koitaba Mibey and the late Hannah Kabon Tapkigen Koitaba. He was a descendant of Koitalel Arap Samoei.

Beloved husband of Gladys. Brother of the late Willy, the late Ruth, the late Joshua, the late Halima, the late John, Khadija, Susan, Asha, Andrew and Joan.

Loving and much adored father of Charles, Oscar, Ben, Hazel, Sammy and Robbie. Father-in-law of Phyllis, Emmy, Chebet, Tim, Dorcas and Naisula.

Grandfather of Savannah, Annie, Chemeli, Kigen, Sauli, Chelimo, Sarah, Lauren, Barack, Matthew, Aidan, Enzi and Zuri.

There will be a celebration of his life at AIC Milimani, Nairobi on Friday 5th July, 2024, 10am.

The funeral service will be held at Poror Highschool, Eldama Ravine on Saturday 6th July 2024, 11am, followed by a burial for family members and close friends at the family home in Kapcholoi Village
