SOLOMON GATHEGU KIRATU

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Mr. Solomon Gathegu Kiratu.

He hails from Nguirubi-Gitune Village, Ndeiya Sub-County in Kiambu County.

He was son of the late Geoffrey Kiratu Munga and Lucia Nduta Kiratu.

He was a loving husband of Jane Wanjiru Gathegu.

Cherished father of Josephine Nduta, Felista Wambui, Teresia Gachanu, Daniel Kiratu, Stephen Njoroge, Simon Munga, Peter Wanjagi, Catherine Wanjiku, Virginia Wambui, Julia Wanja and Peter Karera.

Loving brother of Mary Wanjiru, Virginia Wambui, Peter Karera, the late Simon Munga, Clement Wainaina, Mary Wahu, Dominic Runjiri and a step brother of Wanjiru Ndogo, Virginia Gachanu, Peter Munga, Paul Karanja among others.

He was survived by 29 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Nguirubi-Gitune Village, Ndeiya Sub-county from 6:00pm

The cortege leaves PCEA Thogoto Mortuary on Friday 5th July 2024 at 8:00am for final ceremony and internment at his home.
