DR. MOSES GATHURA GICHIA

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dr. Moses Gathura Gichia (former Deputy Director of Veterinary Service).

He was the son of the late Gidraph Kimani Gichia and the late Joyce Kabura Kimani. Son in-law of the late Stephen Githinji Kabogoro and the Late Eudius Wanjiru.

Husband of Sarah Wambui Gathura.

Father of the late Stephen Githinji, Antony Kimani and Charity Wachira, Caroline Kabura and Edwin Njuki.

Brother of the late Francis Irungu (USA), Joseph Ngingo, the late Winston Mwangi, Josphat Ruthi, Ng’ang’a Gichia (Lecturer MKU), Leonard Njuguna and Benson Kiunjuri.

Brother in-law of Violet Gichia, Ruth Ruthi, Miriam Ng’ang’a, Monica Njeri and Agnes Wambui, James Njuki, David Mwangi, Peter Munano, Catherine Ngotho, Jennifer Muthoni, Lucy Wanjiru and Aidah Githehu.

Uncle, cousin, grandfather of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his Roysambu Home, off Lumumba Road from 6:00 pm daily.

The cortege will leave KU Funeral Home, Thika Road on 12th July 2024 at 8:00 am.

For the funeral service at ACK-Wanjengi from 10:30 am and interment thereafter at his Home Wanjengi (Mbari ya Kiongo) the same day.
