JAMES MAYIEKA ACHIKA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to Glory of James Mayieka Achika on the 27th June 2024.

He was a son of the Late Orina Mogambi, the Late Martha Moraa and late Rebecca Rabera.

He was brother of Mogambi, Shadrack, the Late Nyachieo, Moses, the Late Kamanda, Zephania Oyugi (USA), Jeremiah, the Late Atege, Pr. Orina, the Late Nyang’au, Nyaboke, Jemima and Jane.

He was beloved husband of Jane Kerubo Mayieka and dearest father of Mary, the late Florence, Grace, the Late Evans, Josiah A. Mayieka (Central Bank of Kenya), Hellen, Martha,Trizah Bosibori (National Bank of Kenya) and Priscillah. He was father-in-law of the Late Onyiego, Osuto, the Late Kennedy, Everline, Celestine, Vane, Innocent, Cyprian and Israel.

He was brother-in-law to Gichana, the Late Nyakego, the Late Rasugu, the Late Nyasani, Makori Siro, Esther, and the Late Bironga.

Grandfather of Abner, Albert, Wycliffe, Brenda, Bonny, Melanny, Tiffany, Barrack, Brevin, among others.

The cortege leaves KTRH on Thursday 11th July 2024 for prayers and overnight stay at his Matongo Village home, Kitutu Chache North, Kisii County.

Burial is scheduled for Friday 12th July 2024 at his Matongo Village home.

2nd Timothy 4:7 ~ I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
