DEBORAH WANJIKU MBURU (SHIKU)

8th January 1977 – 10th July 2024

It is with profound sorrow, that we announce the untimely passing of Deborah Wanjiku Mburu (Shiku).

She was the loving daughter of John Mburu Gikandi and Jane Wambui Mburu of PCEA Gateway Church.

Elder sister of Timothy & Carol Gikandi, and Paul & Gladys Macharia.

Auntie of Wambui, Bernice, Tugi, Thayu, Ethan, Nathan, Kena, Magana, Kanyeria and many more.

Niece of Naftaly Ndugire Macharia among others. Cousin, Aunt and Friend of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her parents’ home in Thome Estate, Nairobi, from 6 pm.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at PCEA Gateway Church, Thome Estate, on Friday, 19th July 2024 at 10:00 am. Interment at Langata Cemetery will follow.

Romans 8:28. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose
