It is with sadness that we announce the untimely death of Rodgers Nyakundi Ombongi which occurred on 25/06/2024 due to Severe stroke at Caritas Community Hospital, Thika.

Son of the late Charles Mwendia Ombongi and the late Wilder Kwamboka Ombongi (Gesonso, Bonchari Sub County, Kisii County).

Son-in-law of Michael Yulu and Grace Mwinza. Husband of June Kavithe Yulu.

Dad of Chadwick Mwendia, Rodrick Nyakundi.

Brother of Douglas Ombongi, Kevin Moses, Elvinah Kwamboka, Ednah Buyaki, and the late Belinder Tamaro. Uncle of Alexander Mwendia, Charles Osugo, Klein Mwendia, Ethan, Amandah.

Brother in-law of Sarah Ombongi, Jeff Osugo, Anne Nzibo, Miriam Michael, Annita Mumo.

Nephew of Jameson Matiabe, the late Timothy Ombaso, the late Atemba, the late Omanga, the late Omagwa, the late Kenyanya, the Caleb Marube, the late Mirera, Obwoge, the late Rambeka, the late Omambia, Kombo, Moriango, Bob and Ombati, Nyamoita, the late Nyabairo, Florence, Jenifer, the late Mary.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Salama Estate in Thika and Gesonso in Kisii .

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home, Thika, on 18/07/2024, followed by the burial to be held on 19/07/2024 at Gesonso in Kisii County.
