IRENE WANJIRU KIGUNDU

It is with profound sadness that we announce the promotion to glory of Irene Wanjiru Kigundu, on Friday, 19th July 2024, at Kijabe Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Manyeki and the late Charity Warubia and step daugher of the late Margaret Wambui Manyeki. She was the daughter-in-law of the late Njagi Murimj & the late Margaret Wanja Njagi.

She was the loving wife of Ted Kigundu Njagi and the amazing mother of Antony Njagi, Benjamin Mureithi, Kennedy Gitari, Joel Waweru and Mercy Wanja.

Loving Mother-in-law of Tabitha, Purity and Eunice and dotting grandmother of Jabari, Amari, Makena, Tafari and Pendo.

She was a cherished sister of the late Munene Manyeki, Cecilia Wamaitha, the late Agnes Muthoni and Beatrice Wambui, Step sister of Mutugi and his siblings.

Sister-in- law of Machuka, Gicobi, Mùthee, the late Muchira, the late Wakathima, Gitari, Wakaria and Wakithegi.

She was a loving auntie, niece and cousin of many.

Funeral meetings are being held daily at their residence in Komarock, Sector 1, Mbuyu Court.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home, Mbagathi Way, Today, 22nd July 2024 at 9.00 am and proceed to Calvary Covenant Church, Komarock Sector 1 where the church service will be held from 10:30 am, thereafter arrive at 2:00 pm at Kariokor Crematorium for the final funeral rites at 3:00 pm.
