JOHNSON BARTHOLOMEW WAIROMA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Johnson Bartholomew Wairoma (‘JB’) which occurred on 10th July, 2024 at Kenyatta National Hospital Private wing.

Son of the late Joseck Wairoma Apiyo and Selah Akumu Wairoma (both late) of Osieko village, Budalangi, Sub-County, Busia.

Stepson of the late Phelesia and Jane Wairoma.

Husband of the late Ruth Akoth Wairoma.

Father of the late Dennis Odhiambo, Belinder Rose, Christopher Omore and James Ayuo (all Wairoma). Grandfather of Rohan and Kemi.

Father-in-law of Keziah, David Muthama, Musa Muga, and Douglas Irimu. Son-in-law of the late James Ayuo Ketta and Mama Perez Ayuo (both late) of Siala Kaduol, Gem, Siaya.

Brother of Gilbert and Roselyne Wairoma, George and Everlyne (both late), Milcah and the late Meshack Omenda, Beatrice and Prof. Mathew Buyu (USIU), Rosalyn and David Otieno, Jayne Wairoma, Benson and Seraphine, William and Mary (both late), Julius and Grace (both late), the late Patrick and Dorine, the late Rose, Christopher and Rev. Lucy ,Amos, Ayub, Rose, Helena and George (all Wairoma).

Brother-in-law of Joseph, Adonija, Julius, Prof Paul, Amos, Elizabeth (all Ayuos), Hilda Odera, Phoebe Odhiambo, Margaret Ogolla, Beatrice Andiwo, and Ochieng’ Donde.

Uncle of Julius, Joseph, the late Francis and Josianne, Sheila, Michael, Agnes Muthama, Joseph, Shelly Muga, Annette Irimu, Juliet, Emma, Eric, Yvonne and Haron (all Omenda), Chris Buyu (USA), Dr.Sheila (USA), David Jr, and Hilda (all Otieno) and Horace Paul Owino (USA), Kevin Otieno, Joseph, Christopher (Safaricom), Lorraine and Mark among others.

Cousin of the Omores, the Marandas, the Olangs, the Wamburas, the Owalos, the Owuors, the Opalas, the Miyayis, Arthur Syamba, the Albert Ogola families among others.

There will be a fundraiser to offset medical and funeral expenses at the All Saints Cathedral on Wednesday, 24th July from 5:30PM.

The funeral service will be at All Saints Cathedral on Wednesday,31st July 2024 from 2:00PM. 

Burial will be at Osieko, Budalangi Sub-County, Busia, on Saturday, 3rd August 2024 from 10:00AM.
