DR. FRANCIS MURIUNGI KURANJA

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden demise of our beloved Dr. Francis Muriungi Kuranja which occurred following a road traffic accident.

Until his demise, Francis was the Chief Executive Officer at Bereketi Mining Ltd, Mwafrika Dream Plant Ltd and Africa Moja Hotel Ltd.

He was the son of Atanasio Nthoitha Kuranja and the late Gladys Mkomwathi Kuranja.

He was the devoted father of Jillo Karithi and Chena Adi.

He was brother of Benjamin Muriuki, Luka Mwereria, John Mutuma, Jane Karimi, Massimo Mwithalie, Jeremiah Mwenda, Janet Kendi, Irene Makena and the late Stanley Thuranira.

He was a cherished nephew, uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Family members and friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements at Kinoru Gardens – Meru, TeaRoom Café – Maua, Bereketi Mining Ltd – Mutonga and at the family home in Mutuati.

The cortege will leave Maua Methodist Funeral Home at 9.00am on 02/08/2024 and burial service will be conducted at Mutuati Secondary School and thereafter laid to rest at the family homestead.
