It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Irene Kananu Guantai that happened on 22nd July 2024.
Daughter of Caxton & Betty Guantai Nkunga and Daughter-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Hillary Gachinga.
Wife of Richard Munuhe, and mother of Heri Gachinga and Subira Gachinga.
Sister of Ken and Bixian Guantai, Sister-in-law of Charles & Sian Munuhe.
Niece of the late Mutura, Kaberia, Murungi, Nculubi, Kanini,Thiane, Karimi, Kirema, Patrick, Mubuo, Kaimenti, Kathoni, Thirindi, the late Kayuki & Mwito, among others. A Loving cousin to many.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her parents’ home in Nairobi and Midland Hotel in Maua.
The burial service will be held on 2nd August 2024 at St. Joseph MCK Church Maua from 10.00am and later interred at Rwongone Village, Maua.
