Son of the Late Justus M. Koech and Sarah Koech of Cheseon Location, Bomet County.

Husband of Charity Yegon and loving father of Abigail Cherop, Hosea Kipngeno, Diana Chepngeno and Ezra Kipruto. Brother of Weldon Yegon, Naomi Sigowo, Joachim Yegon, Rose Ngeny.

Grandchild of the Late Joseph Marindany Arap Segem, and Tapropgo Segem. Nephew of Wilson Koech, the Late Julus Koech, Joel Koech, the Late Zakayo Koech, the Late Calleb Koech, the Late Jackson Koech, the Late Stanley Koech, Alfred Koech, the Late Ernest Koech and Hillary Koech.

The family has organized for a fundraising to be held on 3 rd August 2024 at his house in Atembwo Village, Kamogoso, Bomet. Funeral Service and burial will take place Saturday, 10 th August 2024 starting from 10:00 am at his home Atebwo Village, Kamogoso, Bomet.
