It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected demise of our beloved Ernest Mwiti Mutema which occurred on 29th July 2024.
He was the adored son of Professor Alfred Mwongera Mutema and Joyce Mwari Mutema.
Cherished brother of Eric Kinoti Mutema, Angela Nkatha Mutema and Rosemary Gaceri Kangwana.
Brother in law of Michael Kangwana and Cristina Mutema.
Doting uncle of Aidan Koome Mutema, Ariana Mwari Mutema, Matteo Jesrael Kangwana and Mia Clara Kangwana.
He was a loving and loved grandchild, nephew, cousin, and friend to many.
We invite family and friends to join us in celebrating Ernest’s life and cherishing the moments we shared.
Friends and family are meeting in Nairobi and Meru.
Your presence, thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated during this difficult time.
There will be a funeral service held on Monday the 5th of August 2024 at 10:30am at Lavington United Church, Nairobi.
The burial will be held on Tuesday the 6th of August 2024 at the family’s Kithoka home in Meru.
Isaiah 57:2 “Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they enter rest as they lie in death” Ernest, in God’s hands you rest, in our hearts you live forever.
