ELIZABETH WANJIRU GITHIOMI

We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of Elizabeth Wanjiru Githiomi, who departed this life on 27th July, 2024.

Born on August 8, 1956, in Limuru, Elizabeth was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, and mother.

She was known for her strong faith, unconditional love for her family, and her generous spirit.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Salim Mwarangu Githiomi, and their children Christine Wangui, Papa Mwarangu and Monalisa Githiomi.

Elizabeth was part of a loving family, including her late brother Kennedy Mwangi, Nancy Njeri, Florence Effa, John Muna and Sue Muraya .

She was an in-law of late Richard Njeru, Mumbi Kigunda, Robert Githiomi ,the late Njeri Mureithi, the late Njenga Githiomi, Beth Roimen, Janet Njeru, Helen Njeru, the late John Kigunda, the late John Mureithi and Sangale Roimen.

She was also an in law of Margaret Mwangi, Louis Effa, Catherine Muna and Pete Muraya, and was a cherished aunt of many nieces & nephews.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Nyahururu, Ziwani/Ha Githiomi, at 3:00 pm.

Funeral will be held on Wednesday, 7th August, there will be a gathering at the Mortuary at St. Benedict’s Hospital Nyahururu at 7:00 am.

The cortege will then proceed to the service and burial site at 8:00 am, with the service commencing at 10:00 am.

The burial will take place at their family farm in Silibwet. Nyahururu.

Elizabeth’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

May she rest in peace.
