MRS. ROSE WAITHIRA MUYA

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Rose Waithira Muya,which occurred on the 31st July, 2024 after a short illness.

Daughter of the late Harun Nganga Karanja and late Dorcas Wambui Ng’ang’a. Daughter-In-law of the late Ibrahim Muya and Elizabeth Wangui.

Step daughter of Lillian Wambui Ng’ang’a, Ann Warwathia Ng’ang’a.

Loving wife of the late Anson Njoi Muya (Director Visions Institute of Professionals).

Mother of Moses Muya (UK), Stephen Gatuna, Daniel Ng’ang’a. Mother-in-law of Winnie Mawrides, Christine Wamaitha and Jedidiah Njoki.

Grandmother of Alicia Waithera, Jeremiah Njoi, Eli Njoi, Zarah Waithera, Maya Muthoni and Anson Njoi jr.

She was sister of the late Samuel Mburu (Arap Ng’ang’a), late Karugu Ng’ang’a and Joseph Hiri. Step sister of many.

She was auntie of Presbyter Dorcas Wambui, Rev. Steve Mburu, Peter Cucu, Rose Waithera among others.

Sister-in-law of the late David Gatuna, Jacinta Muthoni, the late Esther Wambui, Peninah Njeri, Duncan Maina, Lucia Mukami, Teresiah Warukera, Jane Njoki, Zipporah Wangare, Nathan Waruiru and John Kingori. Cousin, friend and mentor of many.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on Wednesday 7th August 2024 at 9:00 am for a church service at PCEA Loresho followed by a burial ceremony at Langata Cemetery.
