BENSON NYAGA WAMBUGU

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the passing of Benson Nyaga Wambugu (DCI Dagoretti), which occurred on 17th August 2024. He was the beloved son of the late Elijah Wambugu and the late Ann Camu.

Benson was a cherished husband of Agnes Nyaga (Principal, Ruiga Secondary School, Meru Central) and a devoted father of the late Kevin Mwenda,Victor Wambugu of Mediquip global Nairobi and Yvonne Wangari of NIBS college Nairobi. He was a father-in-law of Monica Njoki of KTDA Nyeri and grandfather of Aiden Nyaga.

He was a brother of the Late Moses Nthiga, Albert Ndwiga, the Late Lydia Mutitu, Jemima Igandu, the Late Nelson Namu, the Late Benson Nyaga, Joyce Njeru, the Late James Njagi, Haron Mbaka, the Late Prisca Cuka, the Late Misheck Njeru, Purity Gakinya, Beatrice Mburu, Lydia Mwaniki, Isaiah Ndwiga, Joseph Nyaga, Margaret Kaunga, Shem Njoka and Jane Maina.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Mwenendega sub location for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Tenri Ena Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 27th, 2024 at 8:30am for a requiem service at Salvation Amy church Gichiche and later on for burial at his home in Mwenendega, Sub-Location, Embu East Sub-County Embu County.
