It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Rosemary Muthoni Gachigu on 20/8/2024.

She was daughter of the late Samson Njagi Kiviu and Paulina Gicuku.

Wife of the late Ex-Senior Chief Secondo Gachigu. 

Devoted mother of Angelo, Mary (Principal Mawingu Secondary), Bosco (Lady Lorri), Pauline (Nembure Pri), Ann (Menengai Intergrated Pri), Emilio (Office of the Deputy President), Patrick (Simba Fire Protection), Venanzio (Rtd Principal Kevote), Ndwiga, Dr. Juliet (U.O.N) and the Late Patricia.

Mother-in-law of King’echa (Bs. Karatina), Emily (Ananas Mall), Emilio (Keruri Pri), Albert (Water Buck Academy) and Mercy (Mutus Sec), Beth (Simba Fire Protection), Anastacia (Rtd.Tutor Kigari College), Monica and Izaak (U.O.N).

Grandmother of Purity, Collins, Munene, Olive, Muturi, Munene, Kelvin, Liza, Brian, Rodgers, Shantel among others.

Great grandmother of seven. Sister, Cousin, Aunty and Friend of many.

Family and friends are meeting at her home Kianjuki from 3.00PM.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home Embu on Friday, 30/08/2024 at 9.00AM for a burial service at St Mary-Goretti Catholic Church Kianjuki at 10.00AM and later laid to rest at her home in Kianjuki Village – Gaturi North – Embu County.
