ARISTARIKO MUNGAI NG’ANG’A

With the utmost deference to the Supreme will of God, we are saddened to announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Aristariko Mungai Ng’ang’a of Kang’aru Village, Kinyaga Sub-location, Mutithi Location, Kirinyaga County.

He passed away on Thursday, 29th August 2024 while receiving treatment at the Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital (KUTRRH). 

He was husband of Mary Wairimu and father of the late Faith Wangari, Janet Muthoni, Judy Waithira, the late Edwin Ng’ang’a, Alfred Thumbi, Alphaxard Ng’ang’a, Bramwel Mukuria and Yvonne Wanjiru.

He was the first-born child of the late Brigadier Alphaxard Ng’ang’a Mungai and Brigadier (Mrs) Mirriam Wangari Ng’ang’a both of the Salvation Army.

He was brother of the late Chrispo Mungai, Zipporah Wangui, the late Mary Waithera, the late Joyce Njoki, Esther Njeri, Grace Wambui, Erasto Mukuria, Catherine Wairimu, Ruth Wanjiku, Eliud Ndegwa, Samuel Mwaura and the late Alice Waithira.

He was son-in-law of the late Thumbi Gichimu and the late Scholastica Wambui.

He was father-in-law of Samuel Ndegwa, Wilson Gatiri, Ann Njeri and Lilian Wangari.

He was grandfather of Britney, Jaydeen, Burberry, Stephanie, Mariana, Joyleen, Adalia, Aylah and Tyler.

He was uncle to many nephews and nieces.

The cortege leaves Kibugi Funeral Home, Kutus at 8.00 a.m. on Friday, 6th September 2024 for a church service at the Salvation Army Church, Kagio. 

Thereafter, the final rites and burial will be done at his home in Kang’aru village, Kinyaga Sub-location, Mutithi Location, Kirinyaga County.
