NJUGUNA MUNYAMBU GACHANGO

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing to glory of Mr. Njuguna Munyambu (founder and Director of Eastend Junior Academy) on Thursday, 29th August 2024.

He was born in Gaithegi, Makwa Sub Location, Gatundu North to the late Senior Chief Daniel Munyambu Gachango and the late Ruth Ngonyo. 

He was son in-law of the late Elijah Ngotho and Naomi Wanjiku Ngotho. Husband of Keziah Wangari Munyambu. Father of Esther Ngonyo, Daniel Munyambu and Gilbert Elijah Ngotho of USA.

He was the father in-law of Rachel Muthoni. Grandfather of Angel Wambui, Claire Wangari and the Late Maxwell Ngotho.

He was the brother of the late Josephat Kihiu, Patricia Mburu, Ngigi Munyambu, Gachango Munyambu, Florence Ng’endo, the late Felistas Kinyua and Susan Njuguna.

He was the brother in-law of Monica Njoki, the late Rahab Njeri, Jesse Kamau, Tonie Njoroge, Irene Wanjiru (USA), Dr Mburu, Ann Kihiu, Grace Ngigi, Alice Gachango, Perminus Kinyua and Julius Njuguna.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily for prayers at his residence at Windy Ridge, Green Acres Karen, from 5:00pm.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Friday, 6th September 2024 at 8:00 am, for a funeral service at ACK St. Francis Karen at 10:00 am, and interment at the Lang’ata Cemetery from 1:00 pm.
