It’s with thanksgiving and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mama Gaudencia Awino Musumba ‘Nyaleo’ which took place on the wee hours of Monday Morning, the 26 th August 2024 while Asleep.

She is the wife of the Late George Oduor Musumba ‘Ogema’ of west Ugenya, Ukwala Division, Kasideg Nyandwir Village, Siaya County. 

Daughter of the Late Leo Odundo and Lucia Onyango of Masiro Anyiko Unyolo. Mother of Chrispine Onyango of Sony Sugar Awendo, Vincent Wilbrod Otieno of Nairobi, Judith Akinyi, Gladys Musumba, Joan Friedrichson of Germany, Fredrick Odundo of MSA, Constantine Omondi of Bamburi Cement MSA, Marystella Adhiambo of Germany.

Mother in Law of Carren Kobuya of Sony Sec. School Awendo, Yvonne Atieno Siranga, Markus Frank, John Otieno Kera of Ukunda, Ingo Friedrichson, Felistus Kazungu of MSA, Sven Exner.

Sister of Rosalia Onianga of Alego Komenya, Anne Siwolo of Siranga, Anastacia Ochola of Muhoroni and Joseph Opondo of Masiro Anyiko. 

Sister in law of Alex Otieno of Usenge, Maryanne Awino Musumba of Nairobi, Agabitus Juma of Kasdeg Nyandwir.

The cortege leaves Sameday Classmate Mortuary Sega on Friday 13th September 2024 for Requiem Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church Kasideg at 2.00PM.

The burial will take place on Saturday, the 14th September 2024 at the Home of Alloys Musumba in West Ugenya, Ukwala Nyandwir.
