MWALIMU FREDRICK KHISA MASAFU

We regret to announce the passing of Mwalimu Fredrick Khisa Masafu, on 30th August 2024 at MTRH, Eldoret.

Son of the late Shujaa William Wanyonyi Masafu (Omusaba) and the late Trutea Naliaka Wanyonyi (Omusonge), as well as the late Maayi Priscillah Khisa Wanyonyi and Maayi Virginia Nyangweso Wanyonyi.

Son-in-law of the late Mzee Simon Muntzazi and Mama Diana Kamai (Chavakali). 

Beloved husband of Mwalimu Ruth Afandi and the cherished father of Annette Kareithi (Riara Group of Schools), Christine Janet Singaniabe, Walter Mwima Masafu (West Media), Pamela Nasimiyu Masika (Bungoma County Government), Evans Kwoma, Daniel Malaba (KPLC), Collins Kusimba, Abel Muntzazi, John Silas Wambulwa and Carol Kamai Masafu.

Father-In-Law of Dr. Charles Mburu, Dorothy Matongwa, Edwin Wafula Masika, Irene Kalara Kwoma, Scolastic Nakhumicha, Naomi Nasambu and Jacinta Nasimiyu. Grandfather of 23.

Brother of Juliana Wabomba, Amb. (Dr) George Masafu, Frida Wamanga, the late Humphrey Toywa, Anna Bwisa, Anthony Mulongo, David Sundua, Jane Okutoyi, Henry Wanyonyi, Edward Wanyonyi, Juliet Napwora, Aggrey Wambulwa and others.

Brother- In-Law of Joram, Henry, Beatrice, Margaret and others.

Basakwa of Jospeh Patrick Kariithi, the late Moses Matongwa, Eliud Masika, Norman Ang’ondi, Joseph Makokha Barasa, Joseph Wasike Ngalula and Joseph Satia.

The cortege will depart from MTRH Eldoret on 13th September 2024 at 11.00 a.m for a Memorial Service at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church Kimilili Town at 3.00 p.m

Funeral Service and burial will take place on Saturday 14th September 2024 at his home, Lutonyi “B” Village, Kibingei, Kimilili Constituency, Bungoma County starting at 9.00 a.m.
