It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Joel Kimere Gikuma that occurred on Saturday, 14th September 2024.

Son of the late George Gikuma Kimere and late Violet Wangui Gikuma. Step son of Eunice Wanjiru Gikuma.

Husband of Lucy Wanjiru Kimere. Father of Ambrose Mbuthia, Gladys Wangui, George Macharia and the late Kenneth Gikuma. Brother of Esther Nyambura Gichimu, Winnie Muthoni Mwangi, Nancy Wanjiku Mwangi, Sister Rhoda Nyambura, Philomena Wangari Karanja, Grace Wanjiku Kamachu, Alfred Maina, Lilian Wangui Wanjohi, Anthony Kariuki, Mary Wangari, Duncan Kimere, Purity Njambi, late Nicholas Macharia, late Lucy Muthoni, late Mercy Wambui, late Samuel Gathogo and the late Janefer Wanja.

Son in-law of the late Samson Mbuthia Gathuo and late Esther Wanjiku Mbuthia.

Brother in-law of Lilian Wangeci, Geoffrey Kamanja, Mercy Njoki and the late Benson Kariuki.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Eureka High-Rise Hotel – Nairobi and at his home Matara, Kiawambogo, Rwathia, Kangema in Murang’a County starting at 6.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home – Thika Road on Wednesday, 25th September, 2024 at 7:00am, followed by a funeral service and interment at his home in Matara, Kiawambogo, Rwathia, Kangema in Murang’a County starting at 10.00am.
