It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Reuben Muturi Mwai of Nyaga Village, Kihumbuini Ward, Gatanga Sub County, Murang’a County, which took place on Monday, September 16, 2024, after a short illness. 

Beloved husband of Mrs. Joyce Wangui Muturi. Son of the late Mwai wa Wahinya and the late Mary Njeri Mwai. 

Brother of the late Harrison Mugo and Humphrey Wachira, the late Naomi Nyakiri, the late Karanja, the late Njuguna and the late Janet Wanjiku.

He was the cherished father of Grace Mugure (Njabini), Peter Mwai Muturi (formerly of UoN), Rose Wachira (Mathenge TTI), the late James Gicharu, the late Stephen Wahinya, Elizabeth Wanjiku and Peris Muthoni. 

Father-in-law of the late Johnson Wagacha, the late Nancy Muguru, Harrison Wachira and Eunice Nduta. He was a doting grandfather and great grandfather to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily from 5.30 PM for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home in Nyaga Village, Kihumbuini Ward and at Membley View Gardens, Northern Bypass, Nairobi.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Kabati on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 8.30 AM for a funeral service at PCEA Nyaga Church Grounds at 10.00 AM followed thereafter, by burial at his home in Njira-Inya, Nyaga Village.
