SALOME KAVENE KIVUVA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mrs. Salome Kavene Kivuva on Saturday, 14th September 2024 after a short illness.

She was the daughter of the late Aaron Muutu and the late Lydia Nthemba. She was the wife of the late James Kivuva Mukuthi.

Dearest Mother of Godfrey Mutua, Mrs. Christine Mbithi, the late Zipporah Ngene, Fantassy Mutiso, Rose Mwikali, the late Rachel Kavenge and Lydia Mwongeli.

She was sister of Mary Kyundau, Sarah Mwikali, Rhodah Ndwili, William Wambua, Annah Mumbua, and Ruth Wayua (All siblings are deceased).

Mother-in-law of Jane Mutua, Col (Rtd) Rogers Mbithi, Andrew Okongo, Jane Mutiso, WO2 Simion King’ola (Kenya Airforce), Kenneth Kathurima, and Damian Mwanza.

Grandmother of Ngene, Nicole, the late Allan, Ruth, Ndila and Ezekiel, Lt. Col Hesbon K Mbithi (Kenya Navy) and Linda, Mule and Sylvia, Salome, Vincent, Gaudencia, Rita, the late Bob, Muthoni, Jimmy, Dan and Anne, Faith, Tom and James. Great-grandmother to 15 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements at All Saints Cathedral.

There will be a fundraiser at the same venue on 25th September 2024 from 5:30pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home Nairobi on 28th September 2024 at 6:30am for service and interment at her home in Sakini Village, Mukaa.
