ELLEN NJERI KARUGA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Ellen Njeri Karuga on of 22nd September 2024. We thank the Lord for her strength, love and compassion.

Wife of the late Abraham Tibi Karuga Gachuhi. She was the mother of the late Irene Wanjiru and the late Stanely Kivuti Ndwiga, Sammy Gachuhi, Catherine Mwende  Kathi and the late Monicah Wanja Kamau, Job Njoroge and Irene Wanjiru and Harrison Muguru and Rahab Muguru. 

She was daughter of the late Stephano Njoroge Kiriethe and the late Naomi Wairimu Njoroge. Sister of the late Agnes Nyambura Gichuha (Turi), Njenga Njoroge (Marmarnet),the late James Ngugi (Marmarnet), the late Jonah S. Ng’ang’a, Anne Lennah Wanjiru (Sec 58 Nakuru), Anna Muthoni Ikenye (20 Acres Molo) and Godfrey Kariuki Njoroge (GK).

She was the eldest sister in love of the Gachuhi’s Family, aunt of many. Grandmother of Michelle Njeri Gachuhi (Australia), Samm Jeremy Kamau Gachuhi (Australia),  Irene Ndanu Gachuhi (Australia), Abraham Tibi Karuga Gachuhi, Ellen Wanjiku Gachuhi, Kayla Njeri Njoroge, Kelsie Wangui Njoroge, Karuga Muguru and Njoroge Muguru.

Family & friends are meeting daily from 5.00 pm at the family residence, Nuru Estate behind Shinners Girls High School in Nakuru and on Wednesday 25th September, 2024 at International Christian Centre – Nairobi (ICC Nairobi) from 5.30 p.m.

Her journey to rest will commence at Umash Funeral Home in Nakuru at 8.00 am on Friday 27th September, 2024 to their farm at Pipeline Nakuru (Lanet) where the

Memorial and Burial service will be held by the graveside at 10.00 am.
