IMELDAH NASIMIYU MASIKA

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the untimely death of Mrs Imeldah N. Masika on 27th September 2024 at Mater Hospital in Nairobi after a long illness.

She was the daughter of the late Ayub and Sarah Naburuku of Matili Village, Kimilili. She was the wife of John Masika Wekesa.

Sister of the late Richard Khisa, the late Esther Matanda, Martha Kundu and the late Alex Mupalia.

Mother of Marystella Barasa, Martin Masika, Caroline Masika, Catherine Masika, Denis Mutama Masika, Joan Masika, Douglas Muliro Masika Dorcas Masika and Olive Sarah Masika.

She was grandmother of Louis, the late Eric, Bill, Dan, Ian, Kent, Imeldah, Sarah, Amos, Corine, Barry, Solange, Jude, Nate, Aubrey, Al, Lynn and Imeldah Blessing. Imeldah was a great grandmother of Michelle and Israel.

Mother in-law of Augustus Barasa, Knight Okhalo Wasilwa, Carol Matere and Winfred Mwende.

Sister-in-law of Sammy Wekesa, the late Kubende, the late Erustus, the late Rebecca, the late Elizabeth and the late Makhapila. Cousin of the Muliro’s, Kuloba’s and Wakoli’s.

Family and friends are meeting at stock well Estate, South C in Nairobi and her home in Ekegoro Village, Sinyerere Location, Trans-Nzoia County every day starting at 4.00pm for prayers and burial preparations.

There will be a church service at All Saints Cathedral on Wednesday 2nd October 2024 at 2.00pm.

The body is currently at Umash Funeral Home in Nairobi.

The cortege will leave Nairobi on Thursday, 3rd October, 2024 to Kitale with an overnight stay at home. A memorial service will be held on Friday, 4th October 2024 at PEFA Church Ekegoro.

She will be laid to rest on 5th October 2024 at her home in Ekegoro Village, Sinyerere Sub-location, Trans Nzoia County.
