It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved brother Mr. Mongare Okoyo, Tutor Asumbi T.T College, of Nyaigwa Village-Nyamira County, which occurred on the 16th September 2024, after a long bravely borne illness.

He rested peacefully at the Nyamira Referral Hospital, Nyamira County.

Loving Husband of Madam Isabella Nyangweso Nyaanga, Head Teacher Nyakemincha Primary School.

Father of Shirley Nyaboke, Gerald Okoyo of Oraro Advocates, Ignatius Mongare of KCA University and Eunice Bochaberi Mongare of KMTC Kisumu.

Son of the late Gerald Okoyo Ombiro and the late Eunice Bochaberi Okoyo.

Son-in-law of Jacob Nyaanga Nyantabiga and Priscah Bonareri.

Brother of Don Okoyo of Nyamira County & Dinah Kerubo, Dickson Okoyo of DCC’s office Gilgil & Rose Bwoma , the late Lilian Okoyo & the late Kennedy Kiman’ga and George Okoyo of USA & Truphena Matwere.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his Nyamira home opposite Nyamira Primary School.

A final meeting to raise funds to cater for Hospital bill & funeral expenses will be held on Tuesday 1st October, 2024 at Freisa Hotel Nyamira town from 2.00 p.m.

The Cortege leaves Kisii Level 6 morgue on Thursday 3rd October for an overnight vigil at his Nyamira home.

He will be laid to rest on Friday, the 4th October, 2024 at his Nyamira town home, Nyamira County.
