MAJOR (RTD) CHARLES ODHIAMBO ARROGO

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that Kajulu Nyabangu Welfare Nairobi together with the family of Major (Rtd) Charles Odhiambo Arrogo announce his passing.

His untimely demise occurred on 23rd September, 2024, at his home in Kajulu East, Kisumu County.

Major (Rtd) Charles Odhiambo Arrogo was the firstborn son of the late Gordon Washington Owuor and Mama Phoebe Akinyi.

He was a cherished husband of Grace Odera and Jackline Otieno.

He was a devoted father of Imelda Nyakinyua, Rachelle Akinyi, Elsie Akoth, Frank Arrogo, Gordon Arrogo, Loretta Achieng, and Zhuri Arrogo.

He was a beloved brother of Margaret Jura, Richard Arrogo, Rosemary Moronge, Gerald Arrogo, the late Judith Arrogo, Jacob Arrogo, and John Arrogo.

Two church services will be held in his honor: the first at AIC Ngong Road, Nairobi, on Tuesday, 8th October 2024, from 2:30 p.m., and the second at AIC Milimani, Kisumu, on Friday, 11 th October 2024, from 9:00 a.m., followed by an overnight vigil at his home in Kajulu.

The burial ceremony will take place on Saturday, 12th October 2024, at Kajulu East, Got Nyabondo, Kisumu County.

There will be two fundraisers to help cover funeral expenses.

The first will be held on Thursday, 3rd October 2024, at the Public Service Club, Kisumu, and the second on  Friday, 4th October 2024, at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi.
