ELECTINA NASAMBU LUMUMBA

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Mrs. Electina Nasambu Lumumba, retired teacher on Tuesday 24th September 2024 in Bungoma.

The beloved wife of Odenda Lumumba, a Human Rights Advocate-Land Rights. Daughter of the late James Simiyu Makhino and Philomena Nakhumicha Mwanja.

Daughter–in–law of the late Bathlomew Barasa Odenda and Clementina Nafula. 

The beloved mother of Walubengo Muliro Singoro (MSc. Software Engineer), Elizabeth Nabwire Lumumba (Chief Inspector), Philomena Naliaka Lumumba (MSc. Paediatric Nurse), Regina Nafula Lumumba (Advocate), Ruth Mulama Lumumba (Doctor of Pharmacy), Patience Akumu Lumumba (Finance Analyst and CPAK) and a mother-in-law of Patience Nafula Wanjala (MSc. Construction Engineer).

Grandmother of Ayieko Nathan Singoro, Ernest Richard Wanyama, Adama Nasambu Singoro, and Hawi Johnson Okungu.

Sister of 8 siblings- the Simiyus (Bamusomi/Natoboso) and a sister-in-law of the Odendas (Abakangala)

The cortege will depart from Life Care mortuary, Bungoma, for a requiem mass at Kibabii sub-parish Catholic Church in Bungoma on Friday 4th October 2024 at 1:00 pm.

Funeral service will commence at 10:00 am on 5th October 2024, followed by burial at her Kibabii home in Tutii Village, Kanduyi Constituency, Bungoma County
