WILSON MAIGUA

It is with heavy hearts and humble acceptance of God’s will that we the family of the late Wilson Maigua announce the passing on of our beloved Mother Egila Njoki Maigwa of Kamune Village, Mathioya Sub-county, Murang’a County.

Daughter of the late Muchugi and Muthoni. Preceded in death by husband Wilson Maigua, sons Cyrus Maina and Ruel Mwangi. 

Mother of Esther Wangui, Peter Muchugi, Josephine Muthoni (USA) and Lisper Wairuri (KMTC).

Sister of the late Linus, Martha, Isabella, Absalom,Wangari and Waitimu. 

Mother in-law of the late Newton Ratemo, Grace Wanjiku and Elicson Oanda (USA).

Grandmother of George, Susan, Lydia, Vincent, Betty, Moses, late Emily, Dr Wilson, Jacinta, Newton, Joyce, Njoki, Wangui, Maigua, Oanda, Cliveton, Elius, Ryan and Denisha. Great Grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at ACK Emmanuel Church Kikuyu from 5:00 pm for funeral arrangements.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, 16/10/2024 at All Saints Cathedral Church Nairobi.

The cortege will depart from Montezuma Funeral Home Kabati Thika Road on Friday, 18/10/2024 at 8.00 am for a funeral service at ACK St. Mathews Ngamba church from 10:00 am, and thereafter the burial will be at her home in Ngamba Kamune village.
